What a trip to see so many people, (& TV “personalities”) weeping as I was weeping at the monumental event in American history. Anyone who can’t get that everything changed that night is either brain dead or just plain mad.

(And by “mad” I mean either crazy or just pissed off.)

i read somewhere that Barack ran a great campaign slash was able to get elected despite rampant racism in the states because, from early on, he avoided being labelled as an “angry black man” a la sharpton etc (holy fuck that was the longest run on…)

i’m inclined that think that Obama is just a quiet dude and not really of the Sharpton fervor school and the assumption that all black politicians are inherently “angry” seemed to cheapen the “compliment” that this dude was paying obama.

that made no sense. fuck it.
